Welcome to the new layout for the Elite pages. Pages? I hear you ask. Indeed, since the last time I bothered looking at this area of my site another exciting version of the game has become available. This is particularly useful since the original Christian Pinder site was forced to remove the download option of his reverse engineered Elite- The New Kind. Full story on his website, doesn't need repeated here .

So whats new? Well, a new version called Oolite has been created that follows the same guidelines as Elite but with much better graphics and it benefits over Christians in that there are a few people working on instead of an admittedly brilliant solo effort. Game play is slightly different but hey it still follows the same basic principle. Trade / kill buy better bigger weapons kill / trade buy some more weapons replace what got busted. Repeat until PC blows up or hell freezes over.
