Oolite was something I found after a work colleague mentioned it had been kicking around on the MAC OS for a few years. So I went looking for the info and came across the oolite and discovered the Windows version had been released complete with a forum for help and download / install instructions. I've included a couple of screen shots below but check out the site for more info. Suffice to say a joystick is really really recommended as it makes it so much easier to control the ship. Getting killed is still very easy but shooting someone is easier with the stick.

Screenshots below, nice ship with some tasty equipment. It aint the fastest ship in the universe but with 110Tonnes cargo space you can make some money with it.
