I'm not sure where to start with this but I'll give it a go anyway. Ever since I had the car I've always admired the way it would grip round corners and just feel like a go-kart. Things started to go a bit astray when I fitted toyo proxy tyres in Jan 04 but nothing really I could put my figure on. Just a general unstable feeling from the rear of the car but with not driving it like a loon I couldn't really put my finger on it. You can read more in the tyre page but suffice to say I ordered new suspension from Fensport. Now the reasoning for buying what is basically standard suspension is as follows

So I opted for a set of Bilsteins, yellow sportline which are a direct replacement for the turbo variants. Now if I had had a revision 1 car I could have just bought inserts but rev2+ JDM cars all seemed to come with the complete strut so its a complete strut replacement all round. So what do they look like, er bright yellow to begin with and bloody heavy

front bilstein yellow sportline shock absorber. rear bilstein yellow sportline shock absorber. both front and rear bilstein yellow sportline shock absorber.

The car feels pretty good now and even though I'm running std springs it just handles nicely. Not too harsh over the bumps and doesn't ground out on speed humps. The other advantage is that I'm not putting anymore stress on the mounting points than normal so they shouldn't be any hassle there either.
